Can anyone tell me why userscripts.org is unaccessible? I've been trying for the last three days, and firefox timed out on me on all three of my computers, home desktop, home laptop, and work computer. Thank You. David

Hi,

Looks like UserScripts is down for everyone and it's been down for about 2 days now. It's not just you.

Here's a list of the other UserScripts sites:

Thank you, but unfortunately, they don't have the user scripts I was looking for. Did they forget to pay the bills this month? lol :)

Going forward this will probably be the best source for GM scripts.

I found a backup of my firefox in :

%appdata%\Mozilla\Profiles\x4y9hkpw.Default User\gm_scripts\The_Pirate_Bay_Cleaner_v3\

145020.user.js

jquery.min.js

Can anyone assist me on how I can use or install them in GreaseMonkey? Thank You. :)

Seems to be working via port 8080:

Really? I received an error message. Please see attached screen shot. Thank You. David

Hi David,

UserScripts has been up and down for a while now. I think it's hit the fan for now. It's not accessible normally or with the 8080 port attached to it. You might want to try the link Ed linked above. GreasyFork seems very reliable and I have had no problem getting scripts from there. I haven't experienced a downtime yet. It also looks like it's run by a Mozilla employee (Jason Barnabe) or if not a employee, a long time contributor. Again, I urge you to try it out as a replacement for UserScripts

This is better than userscripts.org

I'm cloning the data from userscripts.org to this site: http://www.webextender.net/ For now you can view, search and install the script. The remaining script and feature will be added later.

hacrot3000,

Awesome! I'm sure this will be good for plenty of users! :)

If you don't mind, I can keep this thread open so you can give us and anyone else who comes upon this thread to learn about USO the update.

Hi Moses,

I am verry happy with that, I'll kep the update here and on the http://www.webextender.net/ home page.
