How does one cancel/delete an unsent message using Thunderbird?
4-30-14
I have searched but have not found how to delete an unsent message with Thunderbird. I found how to do it for an older version, however, not for the present version I am using: 24.5
I should have put the email into drafts, however, I was rushed for time at the moment and chose send later thinking it would go into the draft folder...which it did not. Now I want to delete it since I can't seem to find it to edit or add to its contents. I do NOT want to send it as is.
Thank you

Unsent messages go into the Outbox. You will find the Outbox listed under Local folders. This has not changed for different versions.

Airmail, thank you. The outbox is not visible but I found it in the Local folders (Mac version) along the side and in order to find it I had to open the Local folder. This is not intuitive at all since that folder is not within my section with the inbox, drafts, etc. Searches both here and on the internet turned up nothing that I found that helped. Turns out it is not complicated once found, just well hidden and very unintuitive to find. It would be very helpful if there was accessibility to that folder within the menu bar across the top or the outbox placed under each person's account along the left.
Thank you! Pete
