firefox sec_error_unknown_issuer

I have a brand new install of Firefox and am trying to get to a site owned by ANZ bank (one of the largest financial institutions in Australia).

https://uatepr.onepath.com.au/epr/launcher/launcher.aspx

The certificate is issued by "VeriSign Class 3 International Server CA - G3", so why is this certificate not recognised by Firefox?

hello jarvieia, the site you have referenced doesn't properly implement a certificate chain that links their certificate issued from a intermediary instance to the root certificate authority trusted by the browser.

you can visit https://www.symantec.com/page.jsp?id=ca-ra once - that should be enough to store this intermediary certificate used by the bank in the certificate store of the browser.
