For many years I have used Outlook Express but now changed to Thunderbird. In OE there was a possibility to enter eg. a set greeting phrase, your homepage etc. at the end of each mail. And I'm not referring to the signature possibility of Thunderbird. Can this be done in Thunderbird as well?

The problem is solved. I tested sending a mail to another address of mine and the result was 100 %. Thanks for advice.

It sounds like a signature... Why not use the signature feature for this?

In Outlook Express, were you using custom "stationery" to include that phrase? There is an extension to emulate that feature in Thunderbird: https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/addon/stationery/

I tried the signature, but the result was rather meager. It came out at the very bottom in the script of a typewriter, not at all like the script I normally use (Arial or something like it). Can the script of the signature be changed? I want it to be placed, so that I can start with the mail and then follows the following set frase:

Kind regards,

Name

_______

Homepage

Read how to format signatures here. http://kb.mozillazine.org/Signatures_(Thunderbird)

That link solved the problem to 99%. Only remaining thing: I'd like to make the name of my homepage clickable. Does that need a special HTML code?
