As of this morning my Thunderbird (v24.4.0) won't load new messages. It gives me an error message saying the RETR command did not succeed.
My T-bird was working fine last night, but this morning I get an error message beginning "The RETR command did not succeed...." every time I attempt to retrieve new messages (it tells me there are 23 of them) I get that error message. I'm running the above version on a Windows machine running XP.

No one here has the ability to do anything to your email. Your email provider was just having a bad day and it is fixed now.

My Thunderbird is working fine now. I don't know what you folks did, but whatever it was corrected the 2-week-long problem. Thanks much.
