How do I delete folders in Thunderbird?
I want to delete folders in Thunderbird and nothing seems to work. How do I do it?

Make sure to move all messages you want to keep to Local Folders before deleting an account.
To delete an account:
AppMenu button - Options - Account Settings
In the Account Settings window select the account to be removed in the left pane. Then choose 'Remove Account' from the 'Account Actions' drop-down menu at the bottom.

I tried the delete key. I tried delete folder. I am trying to delete folder in Thunderbird. I am closing one email account and want to delete the entire account. Thanks.
