As you can see in the picture , the UI is still the old one , and i am using the latest Firefox's version (27). Windows 8.1 . How can i fix that and get the new UI ?? I don't want to unistall and install again , because i will lose my settings.

Chosen solution

From the image you have uploaded the UI looks like the latest one.

If you want to use the Firefox Australis Interface(Image) then you will have to wait some time as it is still undeer development and has been released only for the Aurora Release Channel and will take some time to be fully integrated with the Stable release versions of Firefox.

Are you looking for the "Metro-style" version of Firefox? You can take a look but reviewers suggest it isn't quite there yet. More info: How do I launch Firefox for Windows 8 Touch?

Actually the Australis ui is on both the Aurora and Nightly development channels. Australis moved along with version 29.0 when it moved/merged from Nightly to Aurora on Feb 4. The Aurora is a development channel (along with Beta and Nightly) and not a Release channel as that would currently be Firefox 27.0.

FredMcD, if you looked at System Details you would see the poster already has latest Release.

James; If you looked at my response, I was letting jerrak0s know how to tell he has the latest version.

He knows he was using the latest Release version if you read his post, just that he was wondering why he did not have latest ui which was either the Metro on Win 8.1 or the Australis as both are still a work in progress.
