Where is the FireFox cache located on my PC?

I'm on a Windows 8 machine, a bit unfamiliar with it, and wondering if anyone can tell me where FireFox's internet cache is located so I can retrieve some files.

You can find the location of the cache on the about:cache page.

You can open this page via the location bar like you open a website.
Firefox stores the cache data in files with a random name and no file extension for security reasons.
The html files and other small files are stored in large container files.
