I have the BBC F1 as my homepage on Firefox browser. Is there a way I can play a music file when I first open the browser. I have the music file downloaded to my desktop.

Hello tim999,

there is no way to play the music file when you open the browser. Firefox doesnt support this.

You could add a link to this file to the command (target) line of the Firefox desktop shortcut to make Firefox open this file.

<path to Firefox> -new-tab file://<link to media file>

You can open this file in Firefox to get the correct file:// link.
You may have to add the BBC site as well to prevent Firefox from setting focus to the tab with this file.
