Because I think Mozilla is all about open source and stuff, but can Mozilla have things open source, to make their own browser by using their tools? And if they do it, do they have to put under Mozilla's name too or not?

Thank you for answering my question.

hello ThorJohnson, yes those components are already open source and available to be used in your own project. refer to https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Gecko or https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Mozilla/Projects/XULRunner for example.

if you use that codebase for your own project, you may not use the trademarked terms mozilla or firefox for that, please see https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/foundation/trademarks/policy/ (the section about modification).
