Channel 50 notifications
Frequently i get notifications with the title: Channel 50 in my alcatel One touch Fire. these notifications arent sms or somethig, they just appear even when i'm not connected to a network 3g or Wifi. they display a name of a local carrier, my residence state e my DDD number.
- NOTE It shows all carries we have in Brazil randomly
In other words the notification is like this: Channel 50 Claro SP 11
They don't interfere in my performance. Its just annoying. If there is a way to remove them, please, i would like to know.

You could check the setting "Receive cell information" in your phones settings. If this is on, this could be the reason for seeing such messages.

Could this be something you carrier is doing?
i don't think so, in my other cell phone not happened before

Thanks WerWer. I found the answer by myself before see your answer. I just deactivated the cell bradcast and was solved.
