If so, how do I access the switch to turn this feature on in Firefox? (In Safari the switch is under Edit/Substitutions/Text Replacement. Substitutions are defined in System Preferences/Language & Text/Text)

Hello,

The text substitution feature as it exists in Safari is not available in Firefox. That said though, there is a plugin in Firefox [1] that can do what you are looking for. Could you please try installing the plugin and confirm if the feature is provided.

Do note that it is possible to create shortcuts (macros) for URLs and bookmarks in the browser natively.

  1. Auto fill forms in Firefox

Hope this helps.

Thank you
