When I go to a site that requires an ID and password, I get a invalid certificate message. I can tell it that I trust the site but I finally get a site that has no graphics capability. The message says that the certificate supplied by Kaspersky internet security 2013 is not valid.

Then you need to disable Kaspersky's web protection or HTTPS protection, something similar, or a addon.

Chosen Solution

You will have to add the root certificate of Kaspersky or disable this feature to scan secure connections in Kaspersky.
