Chosen solution

It can, but it always must be placed in /Users/{username}/Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles before running, or Firefox will not be able to find it.

Hello,

If you are meaning the app alone, Firefox is already portable. You can find Firefox.app in your user's Applications folder.

If you want your settings to be portable, you can check out How do I set up Sync on my computer?.

Thanks!

Hello, Joshua

Thank you for answer. But I mean that Firefox stores caches, etc in ~/Library/ folder. And I would like to move them somewhere in Firefox.app directory. And then I can move Firefox.app to any other mac or to any folder that differs from /Application.

Maybe this article will help? Otherwise, I don't think that there is anything you can do.

Sorry :(

Thank you! But what about 'profile'? Is it can be moved to another directory?

Ok, I've got. Looks like it's possible only if source code modified. But anyway thank you!
