I keep getting the FIrefox has stopped working error message, i don't have firefox installed, i have installed then removed firefox but it persists.
I do not use firefox, i have installed, and then uninstalled firefoxx to resolve this issue, removing all settings, i have cleared all browsing data from all browsers, the error messages are BEX. Its almost as if it keeps trying to install itself and failing.

It is best to use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed a maximum file size of 1 MB.

Looks like you have an old Firefox 3.6 version still installed which is causing that issue - Application Version 1.9.2.4448
Have you searched your computer for a file named update.exe in a Firefox folder - with Show hidden files and folders enabled in Control Panel > Folder Options -> View = Show hidden files and folders?
Another thing, what seems to trigger that "error" dialog to appear?

A BEX error often indicates malware attempted to inject its code into another process or its data space. You may want to run some extra security sweeps. This article recommends some free tools: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware.
Nothing seems to trigger it it appears randomly, sometimes i don't see it for days. Found a file and removed it, will see how that goes on.

I deleted the hidden firefox files but the error message persists.
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
