Trying to install B&Q Bathroom Planner but get an error saying.....
......"the add on could not be downloaded because of a connection failure on bq.bp.2020.net"......does anyone have any ideas please? Thanks.

It seems to work ok for me from the link in your question.
It is apparently an interactive web page rather than a download.
- What security related software are you using ?
- Maybe something is blocking the site or the scripts it uses. Try to check settings of any security related software.

Thanks for your reply John99. I actually clicked on the link in my own message and after doing that the planner launched! I still can't get it to work as in it won't load any of my previous designs but I guess that's not a browser problem. Thanks for your help.
Ok thanks for posting back.
Do your previous designs actually run in Firefox or is the application standalone ? You could try using Internet Explorer. Presumably it has worked in the past or you would not have the previous designs.
Not sure whether or not this will turn out to be a browser problem or not. Maybe the B&Q site has support and may be able to shed light on this.
It's a long time since I last logged on and I can't remember which browser I used! I'll have a bit more of a play around, maybe it's just being temperamental! Thanks.
P.S. I note the B&Q site
gives minimum spec for planner service and includes as requirements
- broadband
- Firefox >= 3 or IE >=7
