QUESTION ON DISK DEFRAGMENTING
Does my computer have to be turned on when I do the "Disk Defragmenting" Program? It is scheduled to do the feature on a certain time each month, however, I do not always have the computer turned on at that time.
Chosen solution
In order to do a disk defragmentation, your computer needs to be turned on an awake (Not on Stand-by).
If you have the scheduled task set to a time when the computer is not on, it will not turn on your computer to do it either.
Some computers have a program that you can use to set a date and time that your computer will turn on automatically. In most cases, this setting can be set from a menu before the Windows operating system is loaded.
NOTE: Not all computers are built with this feature.

That isn't related to Firefox support, but yes the PC has to be turned on to run scheduled tasks.
