I have checked windows firewall, javascript, my plugins, shock wave, cookies, etc. and nothing has improved it. I have Windows XP, I just played a couple games on the MSN site just the other night and everything was okay. Today it will not download the game.

Are you using a addon to download or is it just not working, you can troubleshoot with Firefox safe mode

I am not using an add on to download-I am playing the free on line games. I will try the safe mode. Thank you for your input.

Thank you for your suggestion. I went to the website link you so kindly provided....however, with all due respect, unless I misread the article for safe mode.... once you perform it, it was/could not be "undone"?

Hi joydel9, Firefox Safe Mode is a temporary diagnostic mode in which some add-ons and customizations are disabled, and hardware graphics acceleration and the JavaScript compiler are disabled. If the site works well in Safe Mode, it points toward those things as potential culprits. If the site still doesn't work well, we can rule those out as potential culprits.

Note that you would want to click Start in Safe Mode and not Reset. Reset is a pain to undo.

I see now. The article linked above includes information on older versions of Firefox with the multi-checkbox dialog. That is no longer present in Firefox 22.
