I uninstalled firefox but can't reinstall because internet explorer isn't working

I wanted to reinstall firefox so I went add/remove prog. and removed. Now, internet explorer isn't working. I am not sure how to tell if its disabled because of firefox that was on previously. The reason for installing again was because it stopped holding my passwords. I have a second computer that I am using to communicate with you.

Hi zaqzaq,

You could download the firefox installer (http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) on your second computer, copy it to a flash drive, and then install it on your first computer.

I dont' believe firefox does anything to internet explorer. The only thing I can think of is that you might have firefox set as a default browser. However, that wouldn't prevent explorer from working. If your question is about what's wrong with explorer, it might be worth taking to a microsoft forum.

Considering that IE may not be operational, using the Firefox Stub Installer might not work. Download the full installer from this page.
