There seem to be a few different extensions with Autofill in the name, so I'm not sure which one is causing the problem for you. Could you give a link to the page where you got it?

To see whether an extension is installed, you can check this tab:

orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category

Some add-ons do not immediately add their button to a toolbar. You may need to move it to your preferred location. This article should help with that: Customize Firefox controls, buttons and toolbars.

I did mark the problem as solved, but won't really know until I come to the next form. I did find the page where I could fill out my basic information.

I went to extensions and received the following posting: "Google Toolbar for Firefox is imcompatible wth Firefox 25.0" I have Firefox 25.0. Does this mean that Autofill isn't available? Thanks.

Hi h.l.s., I'm not sure how Google Toolbar is related to automatically filling in form fields. Perhaps that's because I never used the Google Toolbar. Could you describe the problem you're having in more detail?

I have installed Autofill 3.6 but can't find it. How can I locate it and move it to an add-on bar? Thanks.

Hi h.l.s., I haven't tried the add-on myself, but on the page on the Add-ons site, it shows on the right-click context menu if you right-click a form field.

To set options for the extension, you could try the Options button on the Add-ons page. Either:

• Ctrl+Shift+a
• orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then look for Autofill and see whether it has an Options button.
