Firefox will not open properly and leaves the background very blurry. I have unistalled and re-installed and problem persists.

I opened Firefox today and it checked for add-ons and then crashed. I uninstalled and then re-installed but the above problem persists. I cannot access Firefox at all.

hello, please see if Firefox opens with a transparent or blank window applies to your situation - if so, it would be interesting to know which extension is involved...

Thanks Phillip It was the transparent screen problem and I followed your suggestions and disabled the add-ons and extensions but this still did not work. I then re-started MF in safe mode and hit the re-set button and it fixed it !! Many thanks again.
