how do I get rid of "inspect element" panels at the bottom of my screen?

I think I used the "inspect element" (right mouse button) and a panel appeared on the bottom of my screen. I can't get it to go away. I now have two of them. They just give information about an image I was interested in .

There should be a close button on the toolbar of that panel at the far right to close that panel. You can also look in Firefox/Tools > Web Developer > Inspector

Otherwise the panel should go away after restarting Firefox.

You can check for problems with the localstore.rdf file.
