How can I stop unsolicited Chinese updates invading my English language Firefox?

I am a native English speaker with an English computer working in China. Unsolicited Chinese language updates keep sneaking into my system to the point where I can barely use Firefox anymore. I have stopped using it because it is too difficult and time consuming. I want my English Firefox back and I want to stop unsolicited updates especially in Chinese.

hello, download the english version of firefox from https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/ & install it on top of your current version.
