When loading Firefox, I get this error
Component returned failure code: 0x80570015 (NS_ERROR_XPC_CI_RETURNED_FAILURE) [nsIJSCID.createInstance]
I click OK and Firefox loads as if nothing is wrong -- but it is bothersome

hello OleDad127, this error message is likely triggered by one of your extensions - please disable them one by one (and restart after each step) in order to find out which one might be causing it.
then please directly contact the extension developers through the support channels they provide - they can likely give you more detailed guidance and are the only ones who can fix bugs or make necessary adjustments in the addon for new firefox versions. thank you...

I used your suggested link to "troubleshoot. . . " One (easy) solution was to boot Firefox into safe mode by holding down the SHIFT key while booting. No error message! Shut down and rebooted without SHIFT . . . Error Reappeared. Went to Tools> Add-ons I had 5 add-ons. One stood out: PROMT (Russian Translation) which is not installed on my computer since my last crash. Disabled PROMT toolbar. Shut down and did a normal re-start. Problem solved! Removed the PROMT toolbar. Thank You !!
