Hi,
The interface design for 7" tablets is essentially a hybrid combination of traditional Firefox for Android (on Google Play) phone user-interface intertwined with a partial design from the new tablet interface geared for larger (10"+) tablets.
Firefox on the Nexus 7 in landscape with the phone UI is just wrong when you open the tabs panel. It should have the sidebar. Even on portrait it feels very blown up with tabs panel almost all the way the end of the display.
With the sidebar you can easily show more tabs on both landscape and portrait. There is prenty of room for that. It's not 4.3" inch phone. I've been using firefox since forever on desktop but sadly, on the tablet It's the only thing that is keeping away
