Firefox Nightly Build 16.0a1, is there a way to move the tabs under the favourite bar? Cause simply rightclick and untick the option is not there anymore.

I see Madperson has already edited the post.

I have just tried with my Nightly and this is easy to reset using about:config.

  1. Key into the address bar about:config and hit return
  2. accept any warning you may get
  3. this lists all your preferences, use the filter to narrow down the list
  4. you are looking for browser.tabs.on.Top the preference should be prexisting and will be set to false true
  5. right click and toggle the value as required between false and true

Sorry I am not too sure I am able to understand what you are trying to do.

I have much the same options on right click in Fireox 13 to 16.

Maybe if you attach a comparative screenshot of Firefox release 13 and Nightly 16 to show the difference it would help.

edit

Yes tabs on top also not a menu option in Aurora 15

tabs on top seems to become the unchangable default view for the aurora redesign - however i'm sure there will be some extensions/themes to adapt this behaviour once this finds its way into a release version...

edit: browser.tabs.onTop is still available in about:config
