How do I create multiple restore sessions and save them?

Sometimes I have to restart my computer two times in a row - bring up Firefox, then reboot. It only stores one session. Is there some way to have some kind of way to store the previous 10 sessions or something like that? This is really bothering me, as I have lost a lot of work over the years. I don't want to save it manually, That is retarded and it can be done automatically. This is driving me crazy, and seems like such an easy thing to do.
