Go to File(Alt+F) and Make sure that Work Offline is uncheked ?

I have to do that often and never had to before since the latest 10.0.2 update. I have a Mac running 10.6.8. Thanks

try the following in about:config

type in the address bar about:config

then press the button i'll be careful i promise

then right-click on the about:config page to open the right-click context menu and choose New then Boolean to create a new Boolean preference, name it:

network.manage-offline-status

and give the Value: false

exit firefox and restart-it.


EDIT: see if this (network.manage-offline-status) exist all ready in about:config before create it, press the button i'll be careful i promise and then type in the bar network.manage-offline-status)

did the about: config thing and it didn't change the fact that on reboot and start up of Firefox it defaults to "work offline" Very frustrating as this has never happened before.
