Hello,

Before you begin, make sure you have the search engine you want, already in your search bar.

1) In the address bar in Firefox, type in: "about:config" without quotations.

2) Click "Promise I'll be careful!"

3) In the box marked "filter," type: "browser.search.defaultenginename" without quotations.

4) Change the text value to a search engine you have in your search bar, make sure you type the name: letter for letter, number for number, space for space; exactly the way it is named in your search bar's search engine list.

Hope that helps! Reply if you don't understand, or need further guidance.

Kind Regards, Aaron.

Hello Aaron,

Thank you for your kind support. Probably I asked not correct question but you turned me to right way. Needed result was reached only after changing parameter "keyword.URL" . For my case after several attempts it was set as "http://yandex.ru/yandsearch?text=".

Now I can start search in "Yandex" directly from Mozilla address bar.

You can modify the pref keyword.URL on the about:config page to specify which service to use for the location bar.
