Changing Video Cache Location

I need to find a way to change the video cache location. I've done the "browser.cache.parent_directory" and redirected it to my other drive. I do get some use of it, few megabytes of cache and folders. But when I still go to youtube, I tend to get the "Disk space on C: is getting low." As getting stuff out of my C: drive is out of the question. I need to figure out how to change the flash/video cache directory. Any way I could poke about:config and resolve this?

Chosen solution

Try to change the location of the temp folder by setting %TMP% and %TEMP% environment variables to a folder on that drive (X:\TEMP)

  • Control Panel > System > Advanced > Environment variables
