Print function does not work
I have Firefox 8.0.1 in a 13-inch 2011 MacBookPro using OS 10.7.2 When I ask to Print by clicking on Print on the Manu (or any other way), the print dialog screen comes up, but the document is blank. This happens every time, not occasionally. However I may occasionally get a dialog box coming up which tells me that a Java script didn't run properly. I am given the option in this latter window to press "continue", but that does not work. I have tried going into "Applications" and deleting "Firefox.app" to then download and install it anew, but that does not fix the problem. Can you think of some other solution? I should add that my Safari browser prints properly so the problem must be with the software that Firefox uses to connect to the Printer's driver.

Hi debrigard,
Have you looked at the Knowledge Base article Fix printing problems in Firefox? There is some good troubleshooting information in there. I would suggest that you try resetting your print settings.
Hopefully this helps!

Dear Matt_G: Your recommendation solved the problem. I first tried "Reset Firefox Printer Setting" using "about:config." That did not work. But then I tried "Reset All Firefox Printer Settings" which directs one to erase all print settings in the file "prefs.js" and that restored the print function so that I no longer get a blank document.
Thank YOU because I would never have discovered how to do this on my own, even though I did go to the Troubleshooting Help Page to find the relevant instructions.
