I have an iMac and a MacBook Air, and I started having the same problem on both of them as soon as I updated to FF 9. The feeds are behaving strangely in several ways.

  1. when I click on the feeds button, at first nothing is displayed;
  2. when I do get the unread items displayed, the "mark read" and delete buttons on each item have no effect;
  3. when I click on an item, instead of opening in a new tab, it opens in the same tab with a sidebar listing my feeds;
  4. also, when I click on an item and then go back to the feeds page, the item still shows up as unread.

Sounds like a problem with the Brief feed reader.

Thanks! I'm not sure why I didn't realize that Brief was an extension and not a feature.
