Firefox 4.0 and up has gotten rid of the bottom bar. In this bar you can preview the address of links if you hover over them. Now there is only a popup that does the same. The popup is too small and hard to read compared to the bar that used to be there. This is the only reason I continue to use 3.x. I do not wish to enlarge all of Firefox's text. Is there a solution for this? Perhaps enlarging only that popup AND/or putting a coloured background for it rather than white. Or just somehow restoring the bottom bar as it was?

Chosen solution

The add-on Status-4-Evar will give you a status bar like the one in 3.6.
