Firefox crashes

I have a MacBook Pro that's never had any issues, but my Firefox suddenly won't even load, when I open it nothing appears in the window and it freezes immediately. Over the past few days, I have deleted and re-downloaded Firefox about three times, but it is still occurring. I can't try any of the other steps, such as placing it into safe mode because I can't access the menu so I am not sure what to do.

That is a problem with the Flash player.

Which Flash player version do you have installed?
