I get a pop up that says the memory for firefox is dangerously high,but it disappears before I can read it all

I am sorry this is about all I can remember- like I said it disappears before I can get all the info down. It keeps saying the memory for firefox is to high- like 360MB- It says something about opening and closing, but again I can't figure out what. Sorry. but the memory number keeps going up so obviously something will happen.
