Yahoo has essentially taken over my Browser and is dictating its will upon me.

I can't seem to uninstall it's toolbar, even though I've hidden it, and frequently I'll be browsing some random page, when suddenly the page will vanish, and it will be redirected to Yahoo with the statement at the top "The page you requested cannot be displayed' or something similar, even though I was just viewing the page. I would like to know how to get all traces of Yahoo off of my Firefox browser.
