I click the firefox icon and the program would run, but not start. I reinstalled firefox, restarted my computer, and now it starts, but crashes a few seconds later. I updated everything, ran a virus scan, did a system recovery, put it in safe mode, updated the plug ins, everything! The crash ID is bp-3043527c-6fb3-4794-9401-a39fd2111008. Thanks in advance!!!

Crash report 3043527c-6fb3-4794-9401-a39fd2111008
Crash Signature :nsTArray<ObserverRef, nsTArrayDefaultAllocator>::AppendElements<ObserverRef>(ObserverRef const*, unsigned int) | nsObserverList::FillObserverArray(nsCOMArray<nsIObserver>&)

Bug 658780

The problem appears to be caused by components of incompatible add-ons, including but not limited to McAfee Site Advisor.

Try firefox in Safe mode

  • but do not make changes when you get the options list, just click on continue
  • are you able to confirm Firefox runs without crashing in safe mode ?

You will then need to try to identify which add-on is causing the problem.
