I recently updated to Firefox version 6.0.1. Now when I click on a web page pdf document icon, I get a message that states: "Sorry,PdfMeNot is unable to generate a preview for this file." I am unable to view the pdf file

Can you not get a PDF file to open in a helper application window? You would do that by changing the setting in Preferences/Options > Applications.
