I need to run multiple versions of FF on my Mac / Lion. Is there a proper way to do this? All I've seen are instructions for running 3x and 4x.

Chosen solution

The instruction are the same for each Firefox version.

You need to install each version in its own folder and make sure that you start each version with a different profile folder.
