Why so many Java extensions in Firefox
I have about 6 Java Console related lines in Firefox Add-On's.
Why do I need all of these versions? There is also no way to remove them?
I would think that when there is an update the older version would disappear.
Thanks.

You can uninstall and remove Java Console extensions, you do not need them to run Java applets.

You can also disable the Java Quick Starter extension if it is enabled:
- Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions
- Control Panel -> Java -> Advanced tab -> Miscellaneous -> Java Quick Starter (disable)
