Running Mac OSX 10.4.11 and cannot find sync button under "Preferences." Have 2 laptops I wish to sync w/desktop. (Laptops run 10.6 and 10.7, sync easily found)

Did sync replace xmarks? Is it possible to sync using my older Mac OS? My desktop is my primary working computer, but I need my laptops to have same bookmarks, etc. Thanks for any help!

Hi!

Firefox 3.6 doesn't include Sync as a default feature. You should download the Add-on that activates this feature: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/firefox-sync/

Thanks, Ibai. This worked. Now a new problem: Regular bookmarks have synced, but the "bookmarks toolbar" hasn't. All I can see are "Most Visited" and "Latest Headlines" etc. I prefer the setup I have on my old computer. Any idea why not all my bookmarks have synced? Thanks in advance!

Oops. Never mind. X-Marks did it. Not sure why X-Marks does "Bookmarks Toolbar" but not Bookmarks Menu, but I'm glad it's working now. Thanks again.
