I like to keep my browsing history always clean, so I choose to clear my cache on browser close. However, I can't seem to ever save my AppTabs. These are my settings here: http://www.imgftw.net/img//846787968.PNG ... Any idea what I can do?

You are not keeping history according to your screenshot ([] "Remember my browsing history"), so there is probably no need to clear the history on exit.
You can only keep App tabs if you do not clear the Browsing History if you close Firefox.

You are specifically not remembering browsing history and specifically deleting browsing history -- consistent but not what you want. in your picture
Kind of looks like the bad example on the support site that destroys peoples history. Of course if you read the title and the text there you would see if does not do what would be good for most people at all as it is about clearing history not saving history
Try working with this picture instead, it only clears cache, and if you hit the Tools button to clear history it will only clear cache
- Not saving History (Tools -> options -> Privacy), make sure you are not clearing in "Settings for Clearing History"
For saving app-tabs you need to save your browsing history for them to work, also by clearing browsing history your Awesomebar search at the location bar would be crippled severely by being limited to bookmarks and the current session.

Hey guys,
First of all. Thanks to the both of you! dmcritchie's solution does work. However, I am more comfortable with my current setup, where everything is cleared upon exit, and I am not saving any history. Then came cor-el's suggestion to use the AppTab initializer addon, which exactly what I was looking for. Installing that Addon definitely allowed me to do what I needed to do.
Thanks to the both of you, both solutions were great.
Appreciate the help, Regards.
