I can't print a Adobe PDF file from the browser. Ignores print command.
Nothing happens when trying to print PDF from browser. Print box doesn't pop up and does not go to Printer queue.

Which version of Adobe Reader you have installed?
Recent versions (I think it is version 9.0 and newer) of Adobe Reader have a Toolbar which is displayed at the top of content area in Firefox. If that Toolbar isn't showing, hit F8 and see if it appears. There is a Print button on the left side of that Toolbar for printing the PDF which is being displayed in the Firefox tab.
All the Firefox print functions are overridden by Adobe, when Adobe has a PDF open in a Firefox tab, you have to use the Adobe Print button.

Are you using the Print button in Adobe?
Or a Firefox print command - the Print button, a menu item for Print, or {Ctrl + P}?
I tried all 3 you mentioned on the Firefox toolbar and drop downs. There is no print option on the Adobe Pdf which is imbedded in the browser. I'm able to print from the Adobe software outside of Firefox brower.

have 9.1 and no toolbar at top with F8 key. No Print icon on left side, but when clicked on Pages icon a Tools (gears) icon shows up with the Print option. So am able to print, but that seems like there should be an easier way. thanks.
my computer tells me that I have to install a printer, when my printer works fine for other apps
None of the above solutions worked for me. I have Firefox 10.0.1 and Adobe Reader 9.5.0, and a pdf file would not print either from the Adobe print button or CTRL-P or the Firefox File, Print command. Firefox Print Preview just shows a blank screen. If I save the pdf file it prints OK from Adobe Reader.
Solution that worked for me was to disable Adobe Acrobat Plugin and install FOXIT reader - ensure that FOXIT plugin for mozilla is enabled
I am running Firefox 11 in Windows 7 Home Premium. Adobe Acrobat Reader updated to version 10.1.3.23 today and now I can't print a pdf which is open in Firefox, although printing the same file from IE works like a charm. When I try to print a pdf in Firefox no printer icon appears, and when a print preview is requested one blank page with the appropriate url as a header appears.
There is no Adobe print button to be seen in Firefox.
Can anyone help?
