Firefox will not login to some websites. When I switch to Explorer I dont have a problem.

I have been having trouble loging into some websites using firefox. When I switch to Explorer I dont have a problem. With Firefox the websites dont recognise my user name or password. When I try to reset my password/user name it wont except my encription words requires by the website.
