Is there a way to move my version back to 7.0a1?

I am on the Aurora channel and I use some add-ons that are only supported up to 7.0a1, and I recently updated to 7.0a2 only to find them non-functional. Is there a way to move this back to 7.0a1? And is there any danger in doing this?

Actually if you were on the Aurora channel the whole time then what you were using before was actually 6.0a2 as the 6.0a2 moved to the Beta channel as 6.b1 and then 7.0a1 moved from the Nightly channel to the Aurora channel as 7.0a2. The bleeding edge Nightly then had 8.0a1 started on it in early stage of development.

Either you can download the 6.0b1 http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/channel/ or if you want to stay on the 7.0 and be a Tester instead instead of the 6.0 you had before then install the Add-on Compatibility Reporter Extension https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ to force extensions to install though it is no guarantee they will work at all or without issues.

The extensions are not made for such specific versions like X.0a1 and X.0a2 as the 7.0.a1 and 7.0a2 would not have been the cause if that was indeed the correct numbers.

Back on July 5 it was a day or merging/ moving the versions from one channel to next channel.

6.0a2 which was on Aurora channel moved to Beta channel as 6.0b1

7.0a1 which was on Nightly channel moved to Aurora channel as 7.0a2
8.0a1 was then started on the Nightly channel at time of the merging.

5.0b* which was on Beta channel moved to Release channel earlier before release on June 21
