I recently tried to register with Yahoo Messenger11. A BIG mistake! I have since deleted Yahoo from my computer... but I cannot get rid of it coming up as my Default Screen Page! From my own personal point of view, this is absolutely disgraceful! From a Firefox (brand) point of view, I think that this disgusting infiltration of your Firefox Browser is UNFORGIVABLE! How do I get back to my original Default Screen...... Google...???

Book mark http://www.google.com.au/firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official

Don't pin the Firefox icon to my bottom tool bar It goes automatically to yahoo default search engine. Just drag the bookmark icon into your start box & wait for it to open then drop icon at the top.

Also some of your bookmarks may need added with this search engine.

Dear 2far4u2, Many thanks for your very prompt response to my question / problem. As much as I would love to say it worked......unfortunately I can't !! Perhaps I have mis-read your solution? It's not quite clear as to exactly WHAT I should be dragging......and to where? Please don't think this a criticism.... but I'm not a techie.......and just hate what Yahoo have done to my Firefox Browser! Thanks, edpers.
