how do I delete an online contact?
an unwanted contact is somehow in my online contact list on the left sidebar of my email page. How do I delete this contact from the list?

In Yahoo Mail -
Sign in>Across the top - What's New; Inbox; Contacts>Click on Contacts>Check the particular contact>a bar will open - Edit Details ... Delete> Click Delete.

Each email (webmail) site probably has its own method for editing lists. If you want to mention which one it is (e.g., Yahoo mail, Gmail, Windows Live Hotmail), perhaps someone who uses that site can help.
i'm using the newest yahoo mail. They just updated it about a week or so ago

It should be so simple to delete contact entries. Searching around did not find it.

The regular saved contacts can be deleted from your contacts list (see attached image). Google also might auto-suggest names based on past email you have sent or received. I don't know whether you can clear that.
