when i switch from LAN to 3G wireless connection Firefox cannot connect when i revert back to LAN

We have a LAN connection but from time to time I have to use a 3G connection, when I sitch off the 3G connection and revert back to the LAN connection Firefox cannot connect

Yes, I do restart Firefox
