if i use import from my explorer, does it only copy the info & WILL IT STILL BE IN EXPLORER?

thanks a lot. still havent't loaded firefox yet. had it a coupla yrs back. didn't put it back after a crash. it's not a huge program is it-i'm running a dinasaur
