How do I review the Security Exceptions I have approved?

A site I've been using for months just popped up the security exception screen again. I know I cleaned out some things on this browser a couple of days ago, so I wonder if my Security Exceptions are included. But I can't find where Firefox stores those.

Thanks!

Do you mean certificates ?

  • Tools > Options > Advanced : Encryption: Certificates - View Certificates

You can copy the file cert8.db to transfer the stored intermediate certificates.

If you made exceptions (not recommended) then it is best to see if you can install missing intermediate certificates instead of adding an exception.

A possibility is to check the website via a website like added below and save and install certificates that are marked red to indicate that they are not send.

It depends on which exceptions: cookies, pop-ups, software installation... Perhaps the easiest place to start is to right-click a page on that site, use View Page Info, then the Permissions tab. Anything not marked "Use default" has been customized.

To view the entire lists, try

orange Firefox button or Tools menu > Options

The Content tab has the pop-up exceptions, the Privacy tab has the Cookie exceptions, and the Security tab has the add-on installation exceptions.
